  Isomaltulose (Palatinose) powder is made from sugar beet by an enzymatic reaction. In nature, it exists in honey. Same as sugar, it is a disaccharide with one molecule of glucose and fructose each. Palatinosem is a “slow release" carbohydrate.  Isomaltulose (Palatinose) powder supplies the body with the full carbohydrate energy in a slower, more balanced way and over a longer period of time than conventional carbohydrates.
