  Xylooligosaccharides (XOS) is the widely used prebiotic ingredient for food nutrition in the world. It is non-digestible. Several studies show that Xylooligosaccharides can have following potential benefits for consumers:


  1. Stimulation of growth of bifidogenic bacteria
   Xylooligosaccharides (XOS) are non-digestible food components which can be fermented in the large intestine. Bifidobacteria and Lactobacillia are easily able to ferment Xylooligosaccharides (XOS) resulting in stimulation of the growth and/or activity of these bacteria in the colon.
 

  2. Induce peristalsis,improve bowel habitat,contribution to softer and more frequent stools.


  3. Contribution to natural defences

   Xylooligosaccharides (XOS) can reduce pathogen adhesion in the gut,fewer toxic bacterial metabolites,reduction of colon cancer.


   4. Improvement of mineral absorption
